THANK YOU to Lauren Demmi and Stephanie Albero for choosing the Children's Cancer Center to achieve their Silver Award – the highest award a cadet can earn – by rebuilding our team and guest break room!

The complete renovation included new flooring, new paint, new cabinet, new countertops and sink, new decor and even a new toaster!

"The girls chose the CCC to honor their troop 'sister' Javanna Vasconellos who was served by the Children's Cancer Center and sadly passed in April 2012," said Troop Leader Jamie Albero who oversaw the project. "We couldn't be more pleased with the results and feel the Children's Cancer Center was the most fitting recipient."

The girls held two yard sales to help raise the necessary funds for the improvements.

GFA_BRINK

THANK YOU to the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts and Brink Foundation for raising nearly $10,000 for the Children's Cancer Center!

Half of the amount was raised at the Kids' Art Shopping tent at this year's Gasparilla Arts Festival, an awesome no-parents zone where children are encouraged to browse and buy art for themselves! 100% of the proceeds benefited the CCC and this amount was then generously matched by Brink Foundation!

Now that's style!

THANK YOU GASPARILLA FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS and BRINK FOUNDATION!

We can't wait to work with you again next year!
